The fertile island of Zante proposes various agricultural products.
Olive and wines are amongst the island’s famous goods.
Here are some of the island’s specialities:
stuffed chicken or rabbit, aubergine in garlic sauce called “skordostoumbi
melitzana”, beef ragout and “tsilipourlo”, an Easter dish made from
intestines and offal of young goat or lamb.

Zante also produces mouth-watering cheeses such as the famous “ladotiri”
(oil cheese) which is a local speciality. |
